Upper West Side — Orthodox wedding at a hotel. split dancefloor. we handled separate sound setups for men and women, ran energetic hora music, and transitioned into simcha dancing and modern Hebrew pop. rabbi said we were “smooth and respectful — and actually fun.”
in Williamsburg, we did a secular Jewish wedding with a ton of Israeli guests. we dropped classic Mizrahi bangers, mixed in American Top 40, then hit ‘em with Arik Einstein and Eyal Golan. people went nuts. bride’s mom cried during Hava Nagila.
Queens — reform ceremony outdoors, reception indoors. we ran the Sheva Brachot with soft instrumentals underneath, then switched to a full hora blast for the couple’s entrance. chairs in the air, napkins waving, people shoutin’. the room shook (in a good way).
